In this three (3) hour class, students will learn about flameworking safety, using a propane/oxygen torch, flame control, principles of annealing, process of winding the glass on a mandrel, using gravity and a marver to make beads in three different shapes (round, barrel and cone), pulling stringer, and laying down dots and patterns on the beads.

To work safely in the studio you must wear closed-toed sneakers or shoes. Please do not wear sandals, flip flops, heels, shorts or skirts and only cotton clothing is allowed. Polyester melts... and that's no fun!!!
