Students will learn how to work with borosilicate glass and gain an understanding of the the flame chemistry in order to control the colors of the striking palette. Students will learn the three categories of the flame: reducing, neutral and oxidizing. Tips and techniques will be demonstrated on how to find these three categories on any torch as well as how to recover when mistakes have been made.

• Experience required: Prior lampworking experience or have taken Borosilicate Beadmaking Class
To work safely in the studio you must wear closed-toed sneakers or shoes. Please do not wear sandals, flip flops, heels, shorts or skirts and only cotton clothing is allowed. Polyester melts... and that's no fun!!!
